Friday Center Course Site
The UNC CH Friday Center site included information and registration for a wide variety of in-person and distance education classes. I was responsible for redesigning the site and integrating it into our registration systems for both online and in-person courses.
The site was developed in WordPress and used React for some interactive features. Current classes were pulled from the registration application, providing a user-friendly interface for a non-web developer to add new courses and graphics as needed.
Part of the redesign also included improving accessibility in the WordPress Theme, HTML, and CSS.
WordPress modifications included React, PHP, and JavaScript. Graphics were edited with Photoshop.
Lecture Series Announcement
The goal of this advertisement was to redesign text content to create visual interest and pose the questions to be answered in this lecture.
I developed a muted, calm color scheme that respected the importance of this topic. The font was also intended to be clear and simple, drawing attention to what, where, and when with bold text and highlighting essential questions with a serif font.

Content Design Guidelines
The goal of this site is to inform instructional designers and instructors about techniques for using graphics to clearly convey information through a combination of text and visuals. This site was shared at UNC CH Distance and Lifelong Learning as a resource for instruction design.
The site was built using HTML and CSS in a text editor.
Estimator Web App for Carolina Office for Online Learning
I developed the estimator app for UNC CH Distance and Lifelong Learning. The app included a front-end and back-end developed using a MEAN (MongoDB, Express, Angular, Node) stack of applications.
I created a wireframe using Adobe XD for workflow approval and then built both the front and back ends, including the NoSQL database.
The application included secure login for both staff and clients. It allowed the creation of complex estimations for video contracts and a client-facing front end for delivering the work estimates.

iPad Touchscreen Applications
I have developed the front end for several iPad applications using PhoneGap. These applications were developed in both Adobe Animate and HTML, including CSS and JavaScript. They pulled data using a RESTful service. The client provided the graphics and wireframe.
On Site Touchscreen Design
I have developed several on-site touchscreens for information, registration, and navigation services.
These screens were developed using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frequently made use of RESTful services and in some cases, drove a video application developed in C# on a projector or on the screen itself.
The Tanger Outlets screen provided site information as well as registration through SMS for coupon subscription.
I developed the screen style guide and the screen layout in a Photoshop mock-up. I also developed the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the front end. The site was hosted on a custom Chromium build.
